Mir Handicrafts Pvt Ltd has a legacy of Artisans and Weavers Community development since its inception. The main aim of Mir Handicrafts is to work for artisans and weavers’ community across the clusters that are traditionally and culturally rich and prominently known for its unique crafts. At present, more than 387 artisans and weavers have benefitted from the social development initiatives taken by Mir Handicrafts. We have made generous attempts for the betterment of their daily lives by providing better amenities like world class and eco-friendly working atmosphere, educational resources and medical facilities.
Mir Handicrafts has also given its contribution in reviving the traditional and heritage Namda craft of Kashmir by training approx. 2000 women artisans. These women artisans of Kashmir have been specially trained in Namda craft with innovative design and techniques and are now supplying the products to Mir Handicrafts, thereby enhancing the livelihood of the women artisans.
